GrownMT does not sell or distribute cannabis. Malta's regulated adult-access route uses licensed, non-profit Cannabis Harm Reduction Associations rather than an unrestricted retail dispensary market.
How association membership works
- Confirm that you are at least 18 years old and a resident of Malta. Tourists may not become members.
- Check the official ARUC registry of associations with an operating permit.
- Contact an operating association directly and ask about its membership process, availability, fees, and rules.
- Present a Malta-issued ID card or residence card when required as proof of residence.
- Follow the association's harm reduction guidance and distribution rules.
Important membership limits
One association
ARUC guidance says a person may be registered with only one Cannabis Harm Reduction Association at a time.
Resident adults only
Members must be adults and residents of Malta. An association with an operating permit is the only type allowed to enrol members.
Distribution limits
Current ARUC guidance describes limits of up to 7 grams per day and 50 grams per month, subject to current rules and product-equivalency requirements.
Non-profit model
Licensed associations operate under ARUC oversight and are intended to prioritise harm reduction, testing, traceability, and responsible use.
Personal home cultivation
Eligible adults may also cultivate up to four plants per household for personal use, provided the plants are not visible to third parties and all possession rules are respected. Home growing does not permit selling or sharing cannabis.
